AYRSTRIKE is now regarded as the largest coarse fishing competition in Scotland, with the event attracting coarse angling enthusiasts from all over the country in a bid to make it through to the AYRSTRIKE competition final in May 2009.

Held in conjunction with the Burns Festival, the competition final will take place on Sunday, 24th May 2009 at Springwater Fisheries, Ayr and is open to all Scottish Federation of Coarse Angling (SFCA) members.
